Hi everyone, Yassin Asfour and I have been training for a 586KM, 5 day cycling ride from Munich to Venice starting on the 18th of September to raise funds and awareness for helpless children in Gaza. The current situation in Palestine is appalling. As of Sunday, 3rd of August, Gazas Ministry of Health reported 1830 deaths of which 373 were children. All hospitals in Gaza have reached their maximum capacity to the extent that patients are being treated on the floor in corridors. Gazas ministry of health has called for emergency aid but before this can be debated, voted on and given, there are so many in need of immediate funds, food and medical supplies. In an attempt to build sympathy,we will be distributing 373 toys to kids we come across throughout the cycling route. Each toy will come with the name and date of birth of a child victim of this genocide.The organisation we have partnered with, the Palestine Children Relief Fund (PCRF), is a legally-registered non-political, non-profit, tax-exempt organization which will ensure all the funds we raise go straight to those children in need.
