Hi everyone and welcome back to Cecis update and awareness page :-) And a big welcome and thank you to all our new friends here. We are so happy that you have chosen to join Cecis journey. Sorry we didnt post about our Halloween adventures the kids had fun but we were given more than we bargained for LOL. Since it was way to cold for Ceci and her little brothers we decided to stop by a local church that a sweet gal had invited us out to, to have some indoor fun. The church and the staff were very nice and it was right down the road which is wonderful. They had some very nice activities set up for the kids including Cecis favorite cotton candy. They had a popcorn stand, bounce houses, inflatable slide, lots of carnival style games and food. Things were going good, the kids were having fun and it was nice to get out but again because the weather was so cold the church filled up very quickly. Once the church filled up it was very hard for Cec to move around without having to worry about hitting anyone with her chair and all the games and candy were in the basement which was not accessible for Cecis chair so we would not be able to stay long. Then sadly some very rude and hurtful people began starting problems related to Cecis chair so we decided to call it a night and leave. It made me so very upset that a grown woman would be so hateful and mean towards our girl and Im sad to say that my anger almost got the best of me. I know the world can be a mean place so i shook it off but i think the experience bothered Cec a little too. Since our Halloween night had not gone the way planned Cindy had a great idea. We decided to get the kiddos some pizza, a cake and we would head home and watch movies together. Cec really like this idea and so did her brothers. I ended up picking up a chocolate chip cookies cake which they loved and gobbled down :-D We watched a Disney movie that we had rented from the library called My Neighbor Totoro which the kids loved! They had watched one of the related movies Ponyo before and loved it so i thought it would be a good rental. It is such a cute film and spending time together on the couch was great. Dad got home around 10 from work and the kids were so excited to see him! Especially Cecis little brothers who were then running around in circles in the living room. Dad laid down on the couch to rest after his long drive home and the boys got carried away and wanted to wrestle with him. Unfortunately my little guy Nicholas (2) went to climb on the back of the couch to jump on his dad, lost his footing and fell backwards off the couch hitting his head on the end table. Of course i was terrified and ran to pick him up to find out where he had hit off the end table and found lots of blood. My poor little guy had caught his face off the corner of the table :-( We got the bleeding to stop with a kitchen towel but he began acting unusual, like going to sleep right away after it happened so i decided a trip to the ER was necessary. They got him back right away and because he continued to act dazed and confused the dr ordered a head ct. Thank our lord his head was fine and the rest of his body as well. But he did need to get 3 stitches since surgical glue would not close the injury. They got him fixed up and sent us home but the night was rough. His head hurt pretty bad and as soon as he would fall asleep he would wake up crying my head, my head. We got through the night with lots of rocking and some tylenol and by Saturday afternoon he was back to his happy little self :-) But boy was it a night LOL. Sunday i think the kids were thrown off by the time change and were all awake by 6:30am. We just hung out for the morning before i had to head to work and Ceci played Bearville and webkinz on the computer and then was sad to find out that they removed her two favorite shows from netflix. She loves watching netflix on her Kindle and was watching 19 kids and counting and Kate plus eight faithfully. She really looks up to the Duggers and wishes to someday meet their family. Hehehe :-) I just love this girl! Once she found out that her shows were removed she went off to play house with her brothers and grandma (me) was stuck babysitting her baby dolls. She loves her dolls
