With less than 2 weeks to go, we’re asking people to really consider who they are going to nominate and complete the online nomination application form before it’s too late. Please circulate this email and the links to your networks, staff, friends and family but also challenge them to recognise and reward those special people who make a difference in their community by nominating them to be a batonbearer. Only 10 days left to nominate a local champion to carry the Queen’s Baton Up to 4,000 batonbearers will carry the baton around Scotland on the final leg of its journey through the 70 nations and territories of the Commonwealth, and we need your help to nominate local individuals who make Glasgow great. The nomination process is well underway and you only have until 17.00 on 22 November 2013 to make a nomination. Who can you nominate? You can nominate work colleagues, family members, friends or anyone who does a good job in your community for a position. Perhaps they lend a helping hand to others, do voluntary work or are just good role models. It doesn’t matter, as long as they’ve made a difference to a local community in Glasgow.
