Hi everyone friends and foes. I have been asked by a few people to provide an update of what has been going on. November has been a crazy month. At the beginning of the month, I was diagnosed with a five centimeter aneurism of my ascending aorta. Kind of makes you concerned !! I have been to Hershey Medical Center twice this month and met with a specialist. We have two options, watch it and see what happens or crack my chest and do open heart surgery and possible valve replacement. However, after working with a thoracic surgeon, he chose to wait and see. After numerous test the aorta is only 4.4 centimeters, so I agreed with him. No surgery at this time. I go back in six months for more testing.
