Hi everyone, here is a little information on myself. I am 26 years old and a 5th generation Ashburtonian. I purchased my first property in Tinwald when I was 21 years old. I have served on a number of Committees around Ashburton and Christchurch over the years so have a good understanding of Committee protocol. I have also learnt valuable lessons from experiences on these committees. I am still currently on the committee for the Canterbury Steam Preservation Society, and in charge/overseeing of a partial restoration of a Burrell traction engine on behalf of this committee and club. I have a wide range of interests which include but are not limited to cars, vintage machinery and steam operated vehicles, of which I have my boiler operators ticket and have just obtained my locomotive drivers ticket. I work full time at a local garage and also run a small business from home. I very much like living in Ashburton so I am very keen to improve public/council relations and see Ashburton go forward with a younger voice on council that listens to the public that vote him there.
