Hi everyone its Amber. PRAYER WARRIORS desperately needed. I have finally been able to talk with Brians attending Neuro doctor. He was on schedule to have his shunt put in tomorrow but he has now developed infection in his spinal fluid, ventriculitis. He is now battling 4 infections. He did sit down with me and showed me his MRI. His injuries are what is called Diffuse Axonal Injury which is injury to multiple areas/all of his brian. I do not want to be gloomy in this but honest with all of you as prayers are very important and I as well am crying out to God. His doctor told me his outlook is not good. He said he does have age on his side and.because he is 31 they are not giving up on him yet. He said they will still.continue to work with him. I asked prognosis and how long it usually takes people with this severity of brain injury to wake up (again every person is different) but he said weeks to months. He also said there is a possibility he could never wake up due to the DAI. My husband is strong, I know his strength! I am continuing to pray that God proves all of these doctors wrong and heals Brian completely. Where I dont understand his plan at this moment, I know he has one. I also know the intimacy of my husband and his wishes. Do not take thatment wrong I AM NOT GIVING UP ON HIM but please pray for me as well as the next few weeks and months will bring difficult and impossible decisions for me and our children. I have been in constant prayer and will continue to be, God is leading my path as well. Please continue to pray and lets see that miracle through! Thank you to all of you!
