Hi everyone, just letting you all know that our sponsor program is a co-sponsor program as stated on our website. If you wish to sponsor a dog or cat, you can choose any dog of your preference from our sponsor page to receive their photo once a month and sign up. streetdogrescue/sponsoradogcat.htm The sponsor a dog/cat scheme is to ensure that we have enough funds each month to feed the many dogs. Some of these dogs have been so badly abused that they have trust issues and cannot be put up for adoption. These dogs will stay with us for the rest of their lives. Other dogs may be with us for several months before they are considered ready for adoption or are lucky enough to be offered forever homes. Lets not forget the dogs that are still on the streets. Many of them are scared and hungry. We may not have room at the shelter for them all, but at least we can make sure that they have food. This is a co-sponsorship scheme whereby some dogs are sponsored by more than one person and some may not have a sponsor at all. In these hard economic times, we had kept our sponsor scheme at 10 euros a month to keep costs affordable to our supporters. It however did take approximately 2 sponsors to cover the feeding costs of one dog. As at the 11 September 2013, we have introduced a new option on sponsor subscriptions. For those that are able to afford full sponsorship for one of our animals, weve introduced another option on a drop down list for people to choose from. Half Sponsorship - 10 euros a month Full Sponsorship - 20 euros a month By sponsoring a dog you are helping us to feed the dogs at the shelter and to continue feeding the dogs on the streets. Please choose a dog or cat from our sponsor page to donate to each month and whether to half or fully sponsor them. Even if you can only afford to sponsor 10 euros a month, you will be helping a RSDR animal. Once you have signed up to sponsor, you should receive an email from Paypal confirming your subscription for RSDR. You will then receive a photo of your dog/cat of choice once a month. If your sponsor dog is fortunate enough to be adopted you have the option of transferring sponsorship to another dog or cancelling.
