Hi everyone my friend Andie Crouch has told me about your site. I have a staffy who has cushings and she has had it for 2 years. she is about to turn 17 in January, this photo was taken two years ago, she started on Trilostane straight away, this is a photo of her a week after starting it, she was so very sick i thought we were going to lose her. we brought her dose down alot and now two years later she is going well. she has no hormone chicken, veges and brown rice for her food, i have noticed that if i am busy and give her food from a supermarket and that is chicken for dogs, it keeps her awake all night. I was so scared when she was diagnosed, as i had never heard of it, we did lots of water intake testing to get her medicine right as well. I use a compounding chemist at Merrimac on the gold coast it saves me almost $100 each lot of tablets. I am glad I now know about this site, as I have been going through this with Hollie and not knowing what other people are doing and thinking. thank you :)
