Hi everyone, not that this will matter to some of you, but to others that have WOW Cable, I have been on the phone with them all morning as well as I called Viacom corporation. This company if your unfamiliar owns Many stations, MTV, BET, VHI, Comedy Central, Showtime, all your Nickelodean channels and many many others. As of midnight tonight you may no longer have access to these channels losing over 22 channels if the negotiations fall through. This is if you are a WOW Customer. We wont know until midnight, they will be in negotiations all day today. Although they have been in negotiations for months now. Viacom will not currently renew their contracts with our cable company without a 40% increase in price which some of that cost will have to be passed on to us (the customers of WOW cable), wow cable is fighting to keep these channels for its consumers however, wow cable, does not want to increase prices on its customers because the price increase will be astronomical for us. So these channels will be turned off by Viacom as of midnight tonight if an agreement is not made. I have spoken directly to many different representatives, Viacom at this time will be rude if you call to inquire. I Called direct (212) 258-6000.
