Hi everyone....sometimes you just get that homesick feeling and dont really know what to do with it. Well that was me Saturday when I went to vote over at S J Green School; as most people may know that I I grew up in the shadows of that school. The whole neighborhood is now totally devoid of Magnolia trees...not in the Vallerys yard nor the school grounds. There wasnt enough black people in the block for my comfort and most importantly my Daddys car wasnt parked in front of the house. It just wasnt the same anymore. True enough it looked like home it just didnt feel like home. God I missed living uptown...
