Hi everyone that has followed our journey with Dustin Gardner. First of all, I cant thank all of you enough for your kind words and positive reinforcement. Some days we hit rock bottom and wonder if it is going to get better. Other days we have hope and small victories appear. We found out he will not need another blood transfusion at the moment. From the breathing tests the doctors are still finding moments of what they call As & Bs or medically referred to as apnea and bradycardia where his breathing stops. So then as a result, his blood oxygen level drops. Dustin is well over 6 lbs. and looks like a true warrior. Naomi and I are required to take an infant CPR course. I can tell you now we will pass with flying colors! Once he is released from the hospital he will also come home with a heart and apnea monitor. In addition, as a family we have faced some extreme adversity. Many late night early morning discussions, heated discussions, and most importantly loving discussions. We only want the best for our children perhaps just like you, but it has been difficult. This is and continues to be the most significant challenge in my life. To run a business, be a husband and father has been draining. Notice all the grey hair? All kidding aside we have been suffering in silence. We have missed some markets and many key business opportunities that have not happened. We need some help and that is why we created our Kickstarter campaign. If you can help out great. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Also, do us a favor could you share our link? Perhaps a friend is interested in some interesting and tantalizing rewards. Thats if for now. Fingers crossed that he will come home on Monday. Here is the link: https://kickstarter/projects/1191343043/a-tiny-chocolate-company-your-karma-will-thank-you
