Hi everyone,the syrian regime happens to be gaining happens to be gaining momentum as time goes by and the death toll as of now ranges between 3 million to 3.5 million persons feared dead and many more internally displaced. Special envoy kofi annan failed to bring in a ceasefire between the parties involved same as lakdhar brahimi who is also fading away with his so called table of negotiation you wonder when diplomacy and veto powers resolutions tend to prevail above human lives. laws and policies are tools used to govern civilians and avoid civil upheavals they do play a role in the doctrines of rule of law but the fact we uphold this doctrine does not demistify our humanity interests and priorities in life.....law must be used in a positive manner as was stated by many legal scholars with the likes of proff Hegel,Ronald dworkins,Emile duckheim inter alia law should be used as a weapon that is deemed or aimed to supress the human interest thus should not be contrary to natural and humanity beliefs.its high time the syrian opposition to come to the table and sit with The Syrian President Bashar al Assad and come to terms that would serve both interests.am saying this because i happen to study the history of the syrian regime and it indeed turns out to be a monarchy based governed state so lets not defy the history of the state because we may bear similar consequences as libya is currently doing so since the downfall of Muamar gaddafi.
