Hi everyone, typing from Berwick Hills Library. Decided to rejoin because its only £3.50 for the year and when I can get over her it will save my DONGLE...LOL... plus it gets me out in the fresh air to get to the library and see some different faces lol. GOOD NEWS! After being picked up with mam from the Nursing home by the ambulance service and being transported to the hospital....taken to Trauma Unit (outpatients)....I handed over the paperwork Ibeen given by the nurse at the Nursing home.....only to find out we were in the WRONG area of the hospital. One Porter later....and a LONG walk through the large hospital corridors...we arrived in a different section. We sat for a few minutes and a nurse approached....I handed over the paper work only to be told this was OLD and the appointment had already been attended etc..... LOL We told them why we were there.....hopefully to have moms cast and brace removed.....a nurse looked on her computer and said...Oh...you should be in the Trauma Unit I smiled sweetly and said , Oh we were taken there by the ambulance men. OOPS! (whilst I am typing this IN THE LIBRARY there is a small child bawling his eyes out behind me ...with his dad....Its been non-stop for about 15 minutes....Well his dad is now bawling his eyes out...he is being pretty cool calm and collected....as are all the other library patrons. Back to the hospital... a porter was called to return us to the Trauma Unit....where HAPPILY.....MAM HAD HER CAST AND BRACE REMOVED.....HURRAY!!!! Now we are hoping she will be tranferred VERY SOON to the Nursing home behind her house...for her therapy....so no more Taxis for visiting and as soon as she is mobile....she will be back home...... At the Nursing home...the nurse who gave us the old paper work....apologized profusely...lol... no big deal....quite the adventure AND YOU ALL KNOW HOW I LOVE ADVENTURES.... ;)
