Hi everyone, we are currently at Beacon in WA, a little town we found by accident when we decided to go down the back roads through the wheat belt, the first camp spot we found was Wiera Nature Reserve on the Bullfinch to Wialka road. We stayed 2 days, beautiful wild flowers and old natural water hole carved out of the rock by rain, just a long drop there. We carried on, put Mukinpudin in the gps which is a lovely little town but turned right onto Bent Rd and went to Wialka from there we turned left to Beacon, magnificent display of wild flowers along side the road. We stopped there and took lots of photos. When we came to Beacon saw the van park sign and called in, what a surprise, newish conveniences small park, $20 night and every night you stay they give you a voucher to use in town worth $10, so it actually costs $10 night powered site. Run be Mt Marshall Shire, plus lots of day trips around. We are here for 5 days. Put it on you list for you trip West.
