Hi everypuppy! Its me, Annie. I know its been a couple of weeks since my last pupdate but I have to admit its been kinda ruff. As you may know, my FM picked me up from Miami-Dade Animal Services. My leg was broken and I had several mammary tumors. But I was really lucky...... The dogtors at MDAS saw that I needed a lot of help and they talked to my FM. MDAS, ASPCA & The Humane Society have something called an Angel Fund where people like you donated money and to help pay for me to have surgery to repair my broken leg. UYR & me of course were so happy for the help! UYR will then pay to have my tumors removed & get me spayed so I cant be used for breeding anymore. I visited the dogtor that was going to perform my surgery and they said that they would repair my leg first and then in 2 weeks I had to come back to remove my tumors, get spayed & get my toofers cleaned. Im happy to report that the dogtors were able to fix my leg right away. I have a big scar & lots of stitches but its all worth it to me because it seems like the surgery worked and Ill be able to walk normal eventually. So just yesterday I had my last surgery. My dogtor removed 7 mammary tumors! Ive got several little holes all over my belly from where they were removed. FM told me that my dogtor would send samples to a lab to make sure they were not cancer. So please keep your paws crossed for me. For now, Im at home with FM recovering. Im still in a lot of pain but FM says it will get a little easier every day. FM says shes really proud of me. She says that Im a fighter and a very good girl with wonderful manners.
