Hi folks. Im now at Fort Victoria RV Park. I have a good friend here from the old days so its a good place for me to be. My sister will be having a major surgery at the Vancouver Cancer centre late this month. The news is a bit better than she thought as they can remove and slow down the rare cancer she has. For her it is a relief albeit there is no cure and the best they can offer is way more time than she thought she had. HUGE shout out to Maureen Tweedly who was a rock for me. Things were quite hairy and difficult for quite a while. Without her support Im not sure how I would have managed. I took the Agile to Go West RV in Coquitlam with Maureens help and lo and behold - the water heater problem was due to bad air/gas mixture and the regulator pressure was too low. But way worse was that apparently the last big fix left the regulator hanging and was really dangerous - so they fixed that. Jim Hammill will be getting an order from them for the middle ceiling light fixture as its not wiring but an electronic board as they described it so I need a new fixture for this 2008 Agile SS. Man was it great to get hooked up, throw the water heater switch and it ignited no problem in mist and fog. I sure didnt expect to be in BC right about now but since Im here (and within a ferry ride to Vancouver) I intend to explore! MANY thanks to RT Campskunk and others helping me winterize in the middle of nowhere at 20 degrees, 45mph wind gusts. Gotta tell ya, I chickened out of de-winterizing myself and let Go West do it. The temperatures here are cool but not freezing so its great to have water!! And hot water!! Blessings to all and thank heavens for this group Mike Wendland. It saved my butt and my sanity.
