Hi folks, We are just a little more than 3 weeks away from the Lab Rescue Dog Walk. Almost 250 people have registered for the walk online and weve raised $75,000 in sponsorships and pledges. Were getting close, but we still need to raise $25,000 to meet our $100,000 walk goal so that we can provide veterinary care for all the Labs that will need our help this year. Please consider registering for the walk or making a general pledge to the walk at Honeys page at dogwalk.dojiggy/ng/index.cfm/12186/regPages/pledge/honey. Honey arrived at Lab Rescue in April. Shes had three surgeries, two to mend a severely broken leg, and will have her costly FHO surgery in June. Shes recovering well and has a honey-sweet spirit. This years walk is going to be bigger and better than previous years. More people than ever before have registered online for the walk. We are planning a fun scavenger hunt for you and your four-legged friends with the chance to win some great prizes. We will have a splash and play area with pools for the dogs, a doggie ice cream truck, a Lab Rescue bake sale, search and rescue and agility demos, discounted ($25) micro chipping courtesy of Greater South River Animal Hospital, and some great pet-centric vendors will be on-site, including The Black Dog.
