Hi folks, We are now at a rehab center here in Knoxville. Most of you know I was injured in a bicycle ride this past Monday – breaking 5 ribs front and back, fracturing the left clavicle, multiple fractures to both sides of the pelvis. Type of injuries did not require surgery but all 3 injuries have different healing times. I was transferred from the first hospital to the regional trauma hospital (Univ of Tennessee) on Tuesday afternoon in case one of my ribs decided to puncture a lung, add’l pain mgmt. due to the different injury sites or if I started to bleed internally around the pelvic fractures. Fortunately these issues did not occur and we were discharged to a top level rehab facility on Thurs afternoon (NHC Farragut room 421). I am here now for at least 14 days minimum. Room ph number is 865-218-0021 God is good!!!!! Anyone want to buy a bike? (LOL)
