Hi folks just to clarify why we run two venues rather than one across the board music event. HERE AT LATIN LOUNGE, we play well known 70s northern biggies and up and coming sounds, we bypass all the old Wheel/60s motown and Wigan oldie type sounds that we give 6 hours of respect to at our other event, and jump in late Wigan and Mecca and carry on through the decades (scroll down and check Jeffs playlist Feb 24 post....) we constantly evaluate what we play and listen to what people ask for (best of both worlds balance is what the djs aim for between old and new) and we try to keep what we all know and love freshly spiced up with with what were hopefully going to know and love tomorrow, in many instances some of these tunes now taking off were quite probably first heard at Southport! Boz Scaggs and Mystic Merlin have been played at our events for ages, it was only a matter of time. . . .see you all on 20th April then, lets try and even beat the great turnout we had in Feb!!
