Hi friends . Am in nasik for a family function . In the quest of some good breakfast came to know about SADHANA MISAL -cooked exclusively on wood fire . Mr. Shriram Amle began this misal place in nasik city 55 years ago near chowk mandai . Went there and came to know of their new place started 2 months ago they have set up approx 10km away from CBS- Central Bus Stand off gangapur village road near bardhan phata amidst green fields in a lush natural atmosphere . Only misal is served . You do get some extras like papads - butter milk - solkadi - tea . Very well done up in preserving the natural tone . The founders so Mr. Rajan and his sons Tejas (9730801025) and Ameya now run the new place in such an efficient manner that you hardly ever notice anything amiss . Super efficient service in spite of the place being packed to the gills on a weekday . The MISAL - in itself is bang on - consisting of the gravy - matki chana usal - thick and thin sev - garnished with onions and corriander - served with a huge fried papad - extra onion - two types of rassas - the tarri and non tarri ones - curd - all priced at rs.50 . OPEN FROM 7am -2pm . The gravy was onion garlic ginger based with the prefect balance of spice and flavours - the taste of the lentils emanating to the hilt . What an experience - the food - the service - the ambience - the overall feel just beyond compare . The owner Mr. Rajan himself took me around and very graciously showed the well - oiled functioning and let me click the photographs . The AMLE FAMILY TAKE A BOW . ONE OF THE TOP 3 MISAL IVE HAD
