Hi friends... In honor of Veterans Day, I wanted to share a brand new song. I wrote this song with my amazingly talented friend, Adam Wood... and one of my very best friends (and an American Hero, US Marine, Wounded Vet) Tyler Southern. We sat down with Tyler and talked about the struggles and the reality of being broken as a result of combat. The first two lines say so much: Its ok you dont know what to do when that red Marine Corps shirt makes you ask how he got hurt. He knows that youre not built to understand, how to act, or what to say, not to stare or turn away when you see whats missing in that chair... and not the hero sitting there.
