Hi friends, here is the kitty that my mom Betty and I rescued off the street and saved. He was injured and dying with a fever of 106. He wouldnt have lived more than a few days had we not intervened. We just couldnt sit there and watch him suffer and die. Couldnt put him down either. He saw a vet over the weekend, is on the mend now and we are trying to find him an adoptive parent! A cat lover who will keep him inside, love and spoil him rotten :). He needs a new name but for now we are just calling him Tommy since he was a tom cat hehe. Trying not to get too attached. He is only 1 1/2 years old according to the vet. Neither of us are able to keep him. If you are interested, please respond to this post or send me a message. He will need to go back to the vet in a week to get his sutures out and on Feb 2 he needs a booster shot, but other than that he now has a perfect bill of health. The only thing we didnt do for him was declaw him but did have them trimmed. I didnt want to remove all of his defenses in case he ended up back on the street. He can stay with my mom until after the booster shot so his new owner wont have to do anything. He is neutered now, had minor surgery and did some other normal care stuff. His fever is down and he is eating and drinking like a horse! This little guy is so funny! He will fall right down in front of you and roll over so you will pet him. If you tickle one side he will roll to the other side. If you tickle the other side he will roll to the one side. He will do that over and over and its hilarious! Hes ticklish! and litter trained. A perfect house pet! He is a wounded civil war vet (territory cat fights) so has a couple of character battle scars but nothing too noticeable after his fur grows back from surgery.
