Hi friends, this is Halley, one of Amis best friends. My husband, Paul Rossler and his band Diffident Rebel, are turning their next concert into a benefit concert for Ami. They are going to donate the band proceeds and the merchandise sales to the Ami Whitlow-Brown Fund. We hope to see everyone at the show, but if you cant make it to the show, please consider donating to the link below to help our sweet Ami and her family during this time in her life. Please see the announcement below for the show details. Paul Rossler and Diffident Rebel invite you to a benefit concert featuring their very own original Okie-grown Americana music at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, corner of 1st and Boston in downtown Tulsa, Friday, July 18. The band will debut a number of new songs as well as a few new, stripped-down versions of songs from its debut album, Red Dirt Reggae. Special guest singer-songwriter Grant Ragsdale will open. Show starts at 7 PM, with local food trucks on site before the show. Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance at okjazzhall.org. Band proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales will go to the Ami Whitlow-Brown Fund. Ami Whitlow-Brown is a wife, mother of three, and Jenks special education teacher who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on June 19, 2014. She is currently at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas receiving treatment. For more details on the Fund, please visit Praying for Ami Whitlow-Brown on Facebook and its companion donation site.
