Hi gents As rob has already informed you the Salisbury got there campaign off to a great start with a 5-0 win against the Dockers. As with all 5-0 win the draw went well for us and doesnt give the Dockers the credit they deserve for their contribution in the games. We deservedly lost the first game in the fours but came back well to take the two remaining legs and the the game. First on the ochy were our man Adrian Rees and the boss man Martin Driscoll. Both player scored well and Martin had a few chances on the doulbe before Adrian took the game 3-0 with a 24 plus average martin managing a very credible 21 plus. Second on was our new temporarily signing Mike Rees verses Dockers new man Terry Hoolahan . Not the best with both player finding it hard to get any sort of consistency. Mike won 3 -0 with some good finishing , when he adds his scoring game to the equation he will be a very dangerous opponent. And if he doesnt, we had him on a Free so back he goes lol Myself and Nigel Godbeer next on. The game went well for me unfortunately Nigel also failed to find the consistency that we know he has in his locker. He had quite a few tons but they were punctuated with to many forty fives. A 3-0 win for me though Nigel came closer to me with each leg we played. A 25 plus for me Nigel just short of a twenty Last on was our favorite son Rob Fulford playing Richie Hoolahan. Richie started very strongly deservedly taking the first leg. Rob came back to take the next leg. The next two legs were about Rob finding that consistency we know he has, and Richie losing that promising start. Our man finished the next two legs without to much faffing around well worth the 3-1 result . Rob is starting to find his feet working his way out of a sticky spell in his form Rob had a 21.5 and Richie 19 plus. Many thanks to the Dockers for giving us a good work out and of course their great company, I wish them well for the rest of the season and Im sure if they play like they did tonight plenty of future victories As for us we are still in limbo not knowing where our next home game will be, where ever it is Im sure the sandwiches wont be a patch on the ones we enjoy now lol
