Hi gents The Salisbury made the trip to the globe in Gorseinon this evening, we were expecting a difficult game with the Globe having some tidy results. We won the fours, though niether team set the world on fire. First game on in the singles proved to be the best on the night Lee Evans and Rob Fulford sluggged it out for five legs nip and tuck all the way. Lee took it in the end hitting a 180 and a 25 out to clinch the final leg and game , Lee had 24 .20 and Rob a credible 24.24 Next to grace the oche was Jamie Jones and myself, after losing my first three games on the trot, I badly needed a win. Thankfully Jamie wasnt fully on his game and I managed to take the game 3 to 1 Jamie had a 20.93 and I had a 21.78 , look forward to seeing you tomorrow mate Wyn jones and Adrian were third on, Adrian won this 3 to 0 . Wyn had a great game in the fours but didnt get going at all against Adrian. Wyn only managing a 14 average anf Adrian a 21.47 Last on was Dan Hughes and Anthony Brain , we have all been there when some one man is playing well and your dragged along into a great game trying to keep up, well this was the opposite both players struggled to find the twenties. Some times no matter how good a player you are , or how hard you try its not there for you. Thankfully Anthony got there in the end winning 3 to 1, crap averages, but the all important W. For us and Ant.
