Hi guys - Me again... We have an appointment for the SDR op in a couple of months - yay!! But as you can all imagine having been there we are having some good days and some bad days on whether this is the right course of action for our daughter. I have been reading up on scoliosis and SDR and wanted feedback from you guys whether your child/or you were affected by scoliosis/ or other side effects from the OP. I also cant seem to find much information on the internet on long term studies of SDR etc. My daughter is mild spastic diplegic and can walk with heels down independently for 50 steps or so on even surfaces and is progressing well... so obviously im having a few up and down days. I know Im asking the same kind of questions and have been investigating this for the past year. Its just comments from parents who have had the op have mentioned scoliosis affecting their kids... Any feedback appreciated... :)
