Hi guys!!! Hope you can help me! Just came home aftwr being out , at my nighbors for dinner, and my nearly two year young boy, who usually bolts to visit me and takes 30 min to calm down, was just lying on his bed. So obviously I went straight to him and immediately felt that his skin, ears, and pads are extremely hot. I got a cold cloth to wipe him down and obviously keeping a close eye on him... so two questions.. 1) I was told paracetamol is safe for dogs his size, weight and age to assist in helping break a temp (more importantly to find out why he has the temp, I know) is this a safe choice for him. He weighs 189 pounds. 2) I have been ill for a while with chest infections and flu. .. can danes or any dog for that matter pick up a human bug? Thanks for any advice. And Im in Africa, no emergency vets till the morning... its now 1:30 am.
