Hi guys I am back with my weekend post. Father Vs Son November 2012: 1. Asad: An angry young man who didnt believe in love 2. Asad: An estranged son, who was afraid he might end up hurting a woman like his father did - Akhir main janab Rashid Ahmed Khan ka beta hoon 3. Asad: Defends his loved ones (ammi) when humiliated by others 4. Rashid: An unhappy man, living at the SM with his second family. 5. Rashid: Lives with Shireen but pines for Dilshad 6. Rashid: Regrets the choices he was forced to make 17 years ago but doesnt do anything to fight his destiny 7. Rashid: Never had the balls to defend the woman whom he loves. November 2013: 1. Asad: A man very much in love. Tried his best to not fall in love but did and pines for his love. 2. Asad: Regrets the choices he made but doesnt sit around and accept his destiny 3. Asad: Doesnt fall for the trap of the other woman like his father did years ago. Instead, he exposed her in front of the world. 4. Asad: Fights the rules of the society, argues with the religious leaders and elders at the SM and takes the love of his life home. 5. Rashid: Inspired by his sons actions and a life threatening event, wants to reverse the choices he made 17 years ago 6. Rashid: Wants the love of his life back into his life. Will he succeed? Moral of the story: 1. Qubool Hais tagline: apni chaahat ko pehchaan ne ki himmat dena- applies to Asad Ahmed Khan 2. Qubool Hais tagline: Jo kismat mein mila hai usey qubool karne ki taqat dena-applies to Rashid Ahmed Khan. 3. Both men made their own kismat Kismat was not gifted to them by anyone. Kismat is the choice they made for themselves. 4. Like father like son is not always true 5. Like son like father cannot always be true either. 6. A strong man (Asad), even after committing mistakes, will do the right thing even if that means taking a big risk or defying the world and has a higher chance of succeeding. 7. A weak man (Rashid) will always take the easy way out to rectify his mistakes and seldom succeed. Strength of character determines your muqaddar Either accept it with a smile or fight it to bring back the smile. People who give into muqaddar but remain unhappy are inherently weak In my opinion, Rashid has lost the right to walk into Dilshaads life. He accepted his fate years ago, never fought against it, so he has to pay the price for his inaction. That doesnt mean he will never reunite with Dilshaad. He could, but not without action, redemption and a fight against all the odds he has passively accepted as fate and made a habit out of it.
