Hi guys, I have a potentially VERY serious situation and need your help!! Since I first visited this new apartment Im staying in in Palma there are invisible bugs biting me. I feel constant pricks on my skin. It’s awful! The owner of the apartment said that it’s tiger mosquitoes. I am not sure I believe her. I have been researching online and it seems to me that the tiger mosquito is fairly large “2 to 10 mm length with a striking white and black pattern “ (as shown below) but the bugs in her apartment are invisible (and generally dont leave bumps but I have a few). I’m VERY worried that these are bed bugs!!! Once you get them they are virtually impossible to get rid of. These people are going to be staying in my apartment and they arrive later today. I’m very concerned these bugs are infesting my clothes and that these people are going to infest my apartment in Chicago. The first person arrives in Chicago later today! I haven’t found anything that says that the tiger mosquitoes are invisible. But I wondering if they might be slightly different in Palma? I’m praying that that is what they are and NOT bed bugs! If my apartment and home got infested I would lose everything! Im already worried that everything I have with me here Id have to destroy. Sue
