Hi guys, I have been an amateur astronomer for over 20 years, using my own 8 LX50 . it seems that as the years moved on, new technologies arrived and I feel like I lag behind , for eg (back in the day there was an option to buy a Magellan control to allow me find objects...which I dont think they even sell it anymore ) I was hoping to start upgrading and updating my scope with new features in a way that I could get the best of it , and maybe even start doing some astrophotography with this optic. Im sure a lot has happened since 1998 :) Its still in great shape.. Are there any ways that I can make it even more better? I would be greatfull for any sort of advice !!
