Hi guys, I just wanted to know if any of you had to give up your babies because of a death in the family? I have been living in a rental house with my husband for four years now, with our babies - one 3.5 year old Malshi and one 2.5 year old LabxKelpie in our lives for more than 2 years now. My husband has taken his own life and is now resting in peace, its been over a week now, and nothing feels real yet, and I have to give up this house move to a smaller rental property - I have no idea what to do in reality because I havent sat down to think of reality yet, but I am desperate to know if anyone has been in such a situation. The last thing I want is to lose more loving beings who understand me. My dogs love each other a lot, are both adopted from people who advertised them (one who had to move house whereas another young fellow who didnt really know what to do with a puppy) they are extremely nice, with people (sometimes mean with other dogs, loves cats but my cat who has been in our life for over 4 years hates my dogs). My dogs are slightly spoiled, the malshi - Dobby listens to commands mostly when there are tasty treats, but Pancakes (labxkelpie) both listens as well as understand hand gestures - like when i move my hand downwards she sits, when i move my hand sideways near a door indicating she must go out, she goes out, if i hold my hand like a stop sign, she will wait until i tell her to move. I dont want to give them up because i feel no one will love them like I do but most importantly I will never be as loved as I have been by my two babies , but i just want to know if anyone has been in such a situation. and what options i may have? thank you.
