Hi guys Its been a big year here, and not an easy one by any measure. We launched straight into 2014 with the biggest boat-rocking weve ever experienced and we ended up losing our CEO at the time. For two months we scrambled and struggled to keep everything going while we rebuilt and moved forward, and I was certain it would leave a sour taste in everyones mouths for the year ahead. But it didnt, in fact it did the opposite. All the admins looked to each other at the end of March and said if we can survive this, we can survive anything. It spurred us onwards, and we made the first major steps to registering DWAI Gaming as a business. OCE was moving from strength to strength with larger events every month. Things were on the up. And then they werent. This year weve said goodbye to some of our best staff and some of our oldest members, and its been hard every single time. The success of the OCE division began to wane, and we found ourselves short-staffed at the top having still not completed what we started at the beginning of the year. We rallied though. By God did we rally. Between our event staffs dedication, our managements grit and Jeremys relentless networking we turned the year around drastically. We ran the DWAICS in NA and the LoD in OCE, marking our first major prized events. We held interviews with some of the best up-and-coming teams around the world. We got shoutcasters in bigger and better events than ever before. We signed on our first ever professional League of Legends team. We goddamn rallied. I guess this is my take on the year thats been, then. It was hard, over and over again. At every turn there were new challenges, with every success came a bittersweet struggle. Weve done more than we ever have before, in some of the hardest times weve ever seen. Im proud as hell of everyone here, and I dont just mean the admins. Heres to the New Year. How the hell will we top this one?
