Hi guys, My colleague Lulu Mitshabu asked if I could spread the word about Caritas Australias launch of Project Compassion next week. Details below. Dear friends, We invite you to share pancakes this Shrove Tuesday at Caritas Australia’s 2014 Project Compassion Launch for the Archdiocese of Canberra – Goulburn with Archbishop Christopher Prowse. Martina Kuibai will provide insights into the work supported by Caritas Australia in the Solomon Islands. Martina Kuibai, a teacher at Bishop Epalle Catholic School in Nggosi, West Honiara, Solomon Islands. The Solomon Islands and Vanuatu are prone to natural disasters. Therefore it is very important for the young people to learn strategies to be safe during disasters and emergencies. Other Speakers include Minister & Consul General, Miss Nina Cainglet, Philippine Embassy, Canberra, sharing about the ongoing situation post Typhoon Haiyan and ACT Senator Zed Seselja.
