Hi guys ~Tania here~ I just wanted to share a couple of pics of my boy Shura, who I am starting under saddle at the moment. I have never done this before, he is my first horse that Ive been able to train right from just 10 days old, to starting him under saddle. I have trained Shura solely using Johns method & the results speak for themselves! I have a calm, confident boy who is willing to go up to strange objects to investigate them. This is about his 8th ride under saddle. His 2nd ride under saddle was at a friends place that hed only been to once previously, his 4th ride was at Johns place & his neighbours place that hed not been to before, been to Johns twice in his life. His 5th ride was at Spring Mountain with John also riding a breaker! It just goes to show, that babies can be trained & taken out of their comfort zone, IF they have been trained to have confidence in their rider/handler!
