Hi guys, We are going to be posting a 10 step guide on how to get your body Beach Ready for the Summer. Each day we will give a step to implement, and then ways to implement them. First step is today! Please like and share the post, and we can spread the word to your friends! Step 1 - TRACK YOUR FOOD! To lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit. Thats a fact. It doesnt matter how much clean food you eat, if you eat too much, you will gain weight. Dont be fooled by all the gurus out there having you believe that eating certain types of food will make you lose weight. You need to eat less food. Eat too little food, and the following will happen: 1. Lethargy 2. Libido loss 3. Illness 4. Weakness 5. Hunger 6. Hunger 7. Hunger 8. More hunger Plus other problems... Create a calorie deficit that isnt too big. Say 300kcals to start and see where youre at after a couple of weeks. 350kcals you say? How do I know what 300kcals is? Tracking your food can help you LEARN about your intake and it doesnt have to be rocket science either! Our clients use the following 3 means: Excel Spreadsheet - I provide a food database with a complete breakdown of nutritional values, and they can plan their entire day in that. Myfitnesspal (MFP) - you can use this very simple online application, either on your phone/tablet/laptop to track your intake. Fatsecret - similar to the above, but a different interface. Very important however - do not use their recommendations on how many calories you should be eating. Its way out. Give you an example. MFP reckons I should be ingesting 3100kcals at the moment to maintain weight. I currently eat on average 3700kcals and Im maintaining weight! So there you have a very simple way of tracking your intake. Do it for 4 weeks and see what happens. Calories DO COUNT! In the next post we are going to address tip 2 - Named Diets. If your diet has a name, get rid of it! Well debunk some myths in there about these diets and why they arent special or all they are cracked up to be. Ta for reading!
