Hi guys asking for some advice hope its ok. On Tuesday evening i was helping hubby move a cabinet and a shelf feel out of it (not a huge one only a bout the size of a floor tile and about an inch thick) on to the top of my foot. Its bruised within seconds on the outside just under the ankle bone and hurts to put pressure on it (but due to being a full time mummy i need to get around still so have been hobbling along) luckily car is an auto so can still drive. Now the last day my foot has been feeling cold to me but is normal to touch. I though originally it might have broken or fractured but since the pain is kind of bearable with low dose pain killers i presume not. I am not on any medical aid so really dont want to go for x-rays on a just in case. Hubby seems to think its just bruising but can bruising really cause pain for several days and this cold feeling i have. Any ideas?
