Hi guys, me back, thought i would share a brief report from last night, as you may recall we are holidaying at pt douglas, and I have been doing fair share of fishing, usually during night or early morning, as kids keep me busy during the day. Anyway, was out last night and had a fillet on a wire trace, out on my nitro messiah surf rod matched with shimano aernos 5000 with 30lbs braid, well got smoked in the second run, felt the headshakes, no ray for sure....but on the second run it spooled me ....i guess i wasnt really prepared for something like this. In the end caught new species i.e. Flathead, bream and what looks like a small jew fish, with few more baby sharks which are starting to annoy me coz there is just some many of them. I think that today I will be catching up on sleep...two big nights in a row...interesting that how one finds all the energy when its time for fishing, irrespective how tired you are
