Hi guys n gals, hope youve had a good Christmas? Right help plz I took my van out for a Christmas day run only to get near home and klonk klonk klonk only when I took my foot of the gas to slow down without breaking! Best to my knowledge as Ive only had the van 3months Im running a 1.9 tdi passat diesel on an original 1.6 D 4 speed box. Now Im reasonably mechanical minded but as I havent had time to get underneath I havent a clue what could be going on. It doesnt sound like wheel bearing and goes away when I put the power back on.
