Hi guys, thanks for your enquiries……. I have put together a list of what the unit & software is able to do to give you all an idea of its functions….. The unit gets wired into your car a lot like a radio or alarm does & then for best results is hidden inside the car making it hard to find. Before you secure the unit a sim card is placed into it which sends all the alerts & alarms to you if the car is being messed with. The unit sends the following alarms - vibration ( if someone moves your car) low main power alarm (if your car battery is getting low) power cut alarm (if someone cuts the power to the car) geo fence (you can set a parameter & if the car leaves that parameter the unit will alarm ((great for teenagers)) over speed (if you set a speed & someone goes over it((great if someone borrows your car)) and lastly sos alarm (this is used in conjunction with the supplied microphone & sos button which are also fitted around the driver which can be used in case of an emergency..... if you press the sos button the unit will sms 3 numbers that you have programmed into the unit & then call each number until someone answers, from there you can state your emergency... this could work in many scenarios like - hi jacking’s, 4x4ing & getting stuck or rolling your car, or even breaking down & not having your phone on you.... So thats the alarm side of things.... The unit has up to 3 hours of self-powered life if power is cut from the main supply. The unit also has fuel OR ignition cut which can disable the vehicle via your phone OR the website, this will only happen if the car is travelling under 20 kph to ensure its safety. The website is capable of doing complete fleet tracking, so can tell you when your car is switched on or off, how long it is driven or stationary, where it is driven on detailed maps, Play backs including time date & speed the car is travelling, alarm stats, gps coordinates and can even give you average fuel usage. The App is available for android & IOS & gives you, detailed tracking including live & playback showing date time & speed, has a detailed alarm page, can show you current street address, and shows your phones location as well as the cars. This can be useful if you go hiking & forget where you parked, is great for big shopping centres as you can use the app to get back to your car, & even works out at sea to get back to the ramp if you’re on a jet ski or boat. As long as you have phone reception you will never get lost or lose your car again. Both the apps & website can also track multiple units, so you can even set cars up in groups if you go for a cruise so you don’t all get lost. The unit also comes with a 12 month warranty for peace of mind. In Aus I have found a sim card supplier that only charges 12c per sms (which is how the unit is set up & communicates) which means it costs around $10 for 83 commands, alerts & alarms..... this could take months or years ....... I do recommend setting each units alarm off every 2 months to ensure the sim card is not disconnected from the supplier & also to check that the unit is functioning correctly. Lastly for any non-daily driver I recommend putting a trickle charger onto your vehicle as this will not only help keep your battery at its best but will also ensure you never run it down. Lastly the APP’s & platform (website use) are both free for life which is great news as most GPS tracking companies charge you on average $30 per year just to use their software……. How good is that !!! I hope this helps & is what you are looking for... Please check out the video posted on Face Book for how easy it is to use eagleeyetrackers@gmail
