Hi, its Diane Bostock. Timmy you are the best host Ive met, the Timbre Room shows that of course! (I love the names triple entendre) all the craftsmanship and work put in to make a place to play. listen and party and live. Very very cool. along these lines you, I believe, were also the inspiration and force that brought the scaffolding perch to the latter day electricians corner at the Musicfest . But Im thinking Tim Town I liked the whole way it became the sweetest spot outside the official radar. There was that very serious security volunteer to whom you explained that the clearing and campfire were outside the perimeter fence. You pointed out that that was where his jurisdiction ended and yours began. All the folks and directors at the fire agreed with this viewpoint and so did the apoplectic volunteer who left, before he had a heart attack. In fact he left calm and ready to go back and make the world a little more secure. You persuaded him like a Jedi with that hand gesture thingy they do. Brilliant. You charmer. You always greeted me (and most people) with smiles and refreshments, a welcoming attitude and your usual nonsense. (jokes, funny voices and like that). It was great fun and luck camping there. Jessy was a youngish teen and Brooke a wee babe. It was a real home away from home. We had electricity! The electricians were musicians. The last and best of a long tradition of real fires at the fairgrounds- its too dry these days, I know. I was seriously impressed at how much you loved to play around the fire (what stamina and enthusiasm every day) and the great and diverse bunch of songs, people, musicians and instruments to be found around those fires. A bunch of times I watched you lure shy people to the fire, get em to sing or play along then you would kinda just stop playing or singing the lead so they would have to pick it up and that was fun for them and everyone. Did you do that on purpose or instinct? Well shucks, I dont want to tire you out reading such a long post but you know I love you and you know Im a fan, I love to hear you sing and play, and your fun warm spirit. I would like very much to come and visit if it is doable. hugs and thanks, Diane. please thank Jessy for me.
