Hi, its Lady. I am home from the hospital after my surgery and settled in. My Fostermom and Fosterded were worried my cone wouldnt fit in a normal crate, so Fosterdad built me this special tent in my bedroom, complete with a floor warmer! I really like enclosed, safe spaces, so he and Fostermom wanted to make sure I have one where I can turn and be in whatever position I want so that I am comfortable while recovering from surgery. I am quiet tonight, and my foster parents are making me as comfortable as possible. Fosterdad is even running out to get me a soft cone so I can rest better. I am taking Tramadol for pain, Baytril to prevent infection, and Metacam as an anti-inflammatory. Physical Therapy begins in a few weeks. I am really excited to be able to run and play, pain-free.
