Hi just joined this wonderful group. We moved to Hornell 12/15/1960 from Scranton PA My Dad Clary Bugno worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. My Mom Ida Bugno worked at MacBrides Women wear Store on Broadway. I started HHS double sessions 8th grade in 1/1961. We were the first Class to Graduate from HHS all four years at the New High School in 1966. I attended 2 years at Alfred Tech and started to work at the Elmhurst Dairy. Mr Bill Willey and Harold Ranger hired me to do Payroll for the Hornell and Wellsville Offices. At that the if you worked there you got paid in cash so I had to figure out down to the penny what amounts of pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters and bills we needed. Plus I also got the info ready for your to file your taxes. I loved every minute of my job. I worked with Mary Kay Day, Norleen Corbin, Sue Fenti, Howard Benning and the was a little older Gentleman that would go to the bank for me I cant remember his name maybe Art or Arthur. Then there were all the Route Men Doug Benning, Keith Corneilus and John cant remember. I really enjoyed my time there it was like working with Family. Thank you for allowing me to join this group.
