Hi ladies! It is Rett Syndrome Awareness Month! Did you know that Rett syndrome is almost exclusive in girls? Did you also know that these girls are typically born happy and healthy with no signs of any problem? Eventually they lose their ability to walk, talk and use their hands. From time to time my own daughter has to deal with seizures, difficulty breathing and other symptoms associated with Rett. As a proud mom of one of the most intelligent little girl affected by this syndrome, Im calling on my female friends to help me spread awareness for this Month. To help me do this, all I am asking is for you to paint your nails purple (any shade, preferably dark purple)... fingers or toes, then post a pic of it with the caption NAILS LACQUERED , AWARENESS EQUAL CURE hashtag #AlyssaRepforRett Please dont hesitate to tag your own female friends and keep this going.
