Hi ladies, the amount of posts in regards to finding cheap - TopicsExpress

Hi ladies, the amount of posts in regards to finding cheap photographers is beginning to becoming a concern, photography is an investment and you will get what you pay for. A student photographer will generally have some knowledge under their belt and whilst yes they need experience they also need to be paid and not taken advantage of. You will get what you pay for and I can not highly recommend spending the additional money to have a professional shoot for you - after all you dont want an ammetuer missing some important shots due to lack of experience. There is a big reason someone will charge $50 for all edited photos on disc opposed to the professional who has professional equipment, insurances etc (always hire someone with a registered business and insurance) but will charge much more to cover such costs and because their work is of a high enough standard to be in line with the professional industry, price is long forgotten after you see the quality of your images. Now before you all go to town and have a field day with my post, yes I am a photographer, I have been a student and I gained my experience with working alongside other photographers, yes I was taken advantage of as a student and I burnt out very quickly when I was taking on cheaper work. So please, stop taking advantage of our industry and pay for quality - did anyone ever find a chanel bag for your dream price that was authentic? Would you hire an apprentice electrician to do major electrical work at your home? Sincerley, a frustrated photographer!
