Hi lads and lasses, Well its a new year and the sun has been beating down like a cane in the hands of a 1940s school teacher. I hope youve all remembered to slip, slop and slapped on your sunscreen over the holiday period as apparently the Sun god likes to burn his worshippers. Sheltered from such blistering happiness and still wandering in the bleak Yorkshire moors I slowly turn each page of Wuthering Heights as if sipping a fine dark wine, the last two chapters have been particularly disturbing to say the least and I fear for what lies ahead. But were not caught within the twisted passion of Catherine or Heathcliff nor in the doting of Mr Linton, were worlds away are we not? Surely the rusty wire holding the cork of human passion will hold fast and its festering insanity will refrain from following us to the Last Star.. Ah, alas it is in fact the fuel with which we burn. Thrusters on full Mr Sulu.. Its a long journey and in space no one can hear you yawn, so lets kick off the year with a bit of fun shall we.
