Hi, my dad has an AA3, only found due to a fall in march this year, we took him to the ER as he badly bashed his face they sent him home saying he was fine, that night he had a seizure and another fall so he was rushed to ER again, scan discovered a 10cm brain tumour and a massive bleed, originally told it was benign but massive then a month later told it was AA3, he had surgery the very next day as without it they gave him 2 weeks to live, The 9hr surgery was a success removed 90% from his right temporal lobe, the remaining 10% on his brain stem was too dangerous to remove, he needed further surgery 4 days later to remove a blood clot and have a drain fitted as he had fluid on his brain, then it drained to quickly, up and down for 8weeks in Critial care and nuero ward nearly lost him a dozen times, finally came home for 5 weeks and he picked up quite well, then started 6 weeks RT, after 4 weeks he got a water infection and was admitted for the final 2 weeks, this ended 2 weeks ago and hes still in hospital very poorly, told today that he has several blood clots on his lung so been given blood thinners, just one thing after another and now Im shit scared to go to sleep incase the hospital ring, praying so hard things get better, praying for everyone with this awful beast too xxx
