Hi my friends, Topic: It’s easy to fight when you are inside. No matter how many your degrees, PHDs, diplomas and certificates you have in these days; find work or employment is not an easy thing. One of the biggest mistakes that people who look for employment make is to ask for a job position or a job box in the Organization’s chart. So what is the strategy if you aim to be a general manager of a company for example? 1) Put you qualifications aside People will be less accommodating and they will pull back if you begin to show case your academic achievements when you ask for employment. Start from anywhere. If a business is looking for sweeper for example; make this your entry and start point. Accept this low position and get inside. When you do this; you will have achieved what makes most people fail to get on the path of career success and getting employed. 2) Fight when inside When you are inside that company or business; you will begin to be known and linked. As the days and time advances you will be able to talk to anybody in the company or business without difficulty or fixing meetings and appointments. This is when you can now begin to show your Directors, Managers, Supervisors or Foremen that you would add much more value to the business or company if they use you in your most specialized field of expertise where you have most competence than your current position. If your superiors ask you and say “Why didn’t you tell us at first that you know this or you can do this or that?” your response should be “I had to be oriented to the business or company by start from the bottom. It’s the suitable way for me to really understand how our business or company operates”. It’s is easy for the Directors, Managers, Supervisors or Foremen to elevate their own. They will easily say, Oh!! So you know Accounts? Or “So you are a mechanic?” or “So you can cook?” or “So you Know Secretarial?” and etc. They will tell you “Please stop what you are doing and start doing the books of accountants immediately. We will find a different person for your current position”. If you are a person who is well qualified; don’t forget that the Lord knows about your qualifications and abilities. Promotion does not come from the East or West or North or south; Promotion comes from the Lord. Joseph ended up as King and Ruler of Egypt after being sold as a Slave.
