Hi, my name is Daisy and my owners dumped me at the age of 7 at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Shelter. Im not sure what I did to end up here when I had a home where I tried to show them how much I loved them. I thought they loved me but here I am with Christmas only 2 weeks away, sitting in a kennel, waiting for them to come back and get me. Each time a volunteer comes to walk me, I just smile. I went into a foster home briefly and upon arrival I climbed on the sofa, laid down and sighed with relief. Im back at the shelter because I didnt like the female dogs. I did well with the male dogs. I walk well on a leash, love to snuggle and cuddle, love, love , love being with people. I pick up quickly on commands and just want to please you. I am not fond of being kenneled and really need out of here. I become distressed when placed in a kennel and left because Im not sure if you are ever coming back. I sent Santa my Christmas list with only one item - Please Santa find me a family who will love me and take care of me as I age. I cant take much more of these concrete floors and concrete walls but I know Santa wont let me down. Please be my Santa Claus and adopt me!
