Hi my name is Emily and I go to EWU and I have dark purple hair and I paint my face on every morning not because I am insecure, but because I like the way it looks and I listen to indie music and oldies and all sorts of rock and write poetry that I do not share with anyone and I like to have fun and make political arguments and look at photos even though I am too poor to buy a camera because I still have to buy a car and I keep not doing that. I have a thing for milkshakes and I love the rain and fake eyelashes and winged eyeliner and I like to dress cute but I usually am too lazy to so I just wear sweatpants and t-shirts and buns and I like to ride horses but I just do it for fun and I dont really ever want to show them or race them or anything, I just like trail rides through the woods where its pretty. I like to shoot guns and I want to learn to throw knives and I really enjoy driving and I think I can drive anything because I have been driving equipment since I was tiny. I used to go to work with my dad when he worked at Cenex Harvest States and my favorite memories are playing with a box of newborn barn kittens and chewing fresh mint leaves when we went through peppermint fields. I like fire and bonfires and candles and that delicious smokey smell and I want to buy a truck because its traditionally masculine and for some reason, even though Im a girl and I like my red lipstick and push-up bras, I find it necessary to maintain and show off my masculinity. I am secretly a feminist, I just dont say it because I dont like the connotation that now accompanies the term, much like hipster and I encounter drama sometimes and I dont know how to handle it so I just ignore it usually and that is a bad tactic but I dont know any better ones and I like art and summer and working and manual labor and muscle soreness and I do debate and I used to do theatre and sometimes I miss it but sometimes I dont. My favorite color is green and I like muted colors and lace curtains and indoor gardens even though I underwatered a cactus one time and I am looking for new friends because sometimes (usually) I like people even though I say I dont and my friends are all busy people so be my friend.
