Hi people, I have a question. Last night I soldered in some new Duncan pickups to my HH telecaster. Now before I started the guitar was perfectly set up and had 9-42 strings on it. The intonation etc was perfect. After removing the Bridge plate etc I put it all back together and installed a new set of strings also 9-42. The problem is when I tuned up and tried the guitar out, I found that the intonation was way out. All the notes were flat the further you came up the fretboard despite the fact that I hadnt moved the saddles from their original position when I removed the Bridge plate. I readjusted the saddles so the intonation is now perfect again but the position of them just doesnt look right to me but the intonation really is now perfect. The A string saddle in particular I had to move forward a lot! What do to guys think? Should I be concerned?
